Warranty & Terms
Our frame and suspension systems are warranted for the lifetime of the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty applies to the original owner only and remains valid provided the furniture remains upholstered in its original fabric. For slipcovered pieces, this refers to the fabric covering the base frame of the furniture.

All seat cushions are constructed with 2.5 high-resiliency (HR) foam, widely regarded as the highest quality foam available for upholstered seating. The foam core is warranted for ten (10) years against collapse under normal residential use.
Over time, all foam and fill materials will naturally soften and conform to the user. This is expected behavior and is not considered a defect. Regular maintenance, including fluffing and rotating seat cushions and back pillows, is required to promote even wear and maintain appearance.
All pieces are manufactured using COM (Customer’s Own Material). As a result, we are unable to provide a warranty on the fabric itself. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the selected material is appropriate for upholstery and suitable for the intended use, performance requirements, and construction of the piece.
All seams are constructed using modern sewing techniques and reinforced for durability. We warrant seams to be free from defects in workmanship, including seam slippage, for a period of six (6) months under normal residential use. Any workmanship-related seam issues would typically present within this timeframe.
All dimensions are approximate and may vary by up to 1 inch per dimension due to the handmade nature of our furniture. If a defect covered under these warranties occurs, the product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. If repair or replacement is not practical, Capstone Furniture may, at its option, offer alternative financial remuneration or substitute the product. This remedy is exclusive, and no other obligations or liabilities are authorized.
All warranty repairs will be performed by Capstone Furniture at no charge to the original purchaser, excluding any shipping or delivery costs required to complete the repair or replacement. During the warranty period, the original purchaser is responsible for all associated shipping or delivery expenses.
This warranty does not apply to products that have been subjected to misuse, alteration, fire, accidents, improper cleaning, or neglect of reasonable care and maintenance.
All freight charges to and from Capstone Furniture’s factory in Los Angeles, California are the responsibility of the customer. In the event of transit damage, your contracted freight carrier must be notified within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to provide timely notice may affect your ability to obtain compensation. Prior to shipment, all finished pieces are carefully inspected and photographed before wrapping to document condition and quality. These photos are available upon request.
This Limited Warranty applies only under normal residential use and does not cover defects or damage resulting from negligence, abuse, misuse, improper or inadequate care, exposure to chemicals or liquids, accidents, or use outside the product’s intended purpose. Damage incurred during relocation to another residence is excluded.
The Limited Warranty is valid only for purchases made through an Authorized Dealer for personal use and terminates upon resale. This warranty provides specific legal rights; additional rights may vary by state.
To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed. Capstone Furniture shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
